I’m Karen, the hands (and sewing machine) behind Kaybee Creations. With over 20 years of experience as an optometrist, I’ve developed a keen eye for detail (pun absolutely intended!). That precision carries through into everything I create, from glasses cases to bags and all sorts of fun accessories in between.

Sewing has always been a passion of mine, and I’m lucky enough to make it my creative outlet alongside my professional work. My background in optometry helps me see the world through a unique lens (again, pun intended!), always seeking beauty in the small, sometimes overlooked details that make a piece truly special.

When it comes to fabric, I’m drawn to the playful patterns of Rifle Paper Co., Tula Pink, and the charming designs of Kiwiana-inspired fabrics. Whether the prints are subtle, whimsical, or bold, I love the way they spark my creativity and bring a unique touch to each project.
